Students are governed by the policies and procedures in effect on their course start date. Course start date is based on the date payment is made. The course contract period is for 6 months.
Students who are unable to complete their course within the course contract period may request an extension. This should be made through their tutor.
Each course can be extended up to 2 times. Each extension is valid for a period of 3 months. There is no cost for the first extension. A second extension may be purchased for $100 (Canadian funds). There is no refund for an extension.
If a course is not completed by the end of the second extension period, and the student wishes to continue with their studies, they will have to re-enroll by completing a new registration form and paying the full course tuition fee.
To Qualify for an Extension:
• The student must submit their request 1 month before the course contract period ends. Requests which are received after this date will not be considered. In this latter situation, the student is required to re-enroll by completing a new registration form and paying the full course tuition fee.
• A student must have submitted at least 2 assignments before an extension will be considered.
